Group excursion tours for pensioners

This type of holiday is quite popular among people who are planning to go travelling alone. The advantages of this type of tourism is that a clear plan of activities has already been thought out for the entire period of the trip. It already includes excursions to interesting places, booked rooms with meals, transfers and transfers from one place to another.

Retirement group tours are planned according to the same scheme, but they are more measured, without a strong rush, prepared taking into account the age of the group participants. The tours are usually organised not in the hottest season, which makes their price much lower, and the weather conditions are more comfortable for people of age.

Seaside holidays for theelderly

For those pensioners who love the sea and the sun, a beach holiday in a warm country is perfect. Daily walks along the seashore, salty air, and actually bathing in the sea will fill the tired body. Fortunately, today there is an endless number of suitable resorts. It remains only to choose according to your needs and possibilities.

A holiday for a person of age here is better planned for the period from September to April, when the hot season is over and the main flow of tourists has subsided. In September it is still quite possible to swim in the sea and not get lost on the beach in the crowd of numerous tourists. In the low season, the weather becomes the most comfortable - the heat subsides and you can calmly walk around the local markets and visit excursions.

Be vigilant on holiday

Make several copies of your documents before travelling. Always keep one set in your bag when you go for a walk or an excursion.

Put original documents, bank cards, cash, jewellery in a safe upon arrival at the hotel.

It is recommended to take a phrase book with you when walking to be able to explain yourself if you have any questions. You should also have the number of your guide, hotel employee or tour operator's representative with you.
